Is your child struggling with low concentration? 8 ways to align the study space with Vastu principles

Is maintaining concentration during your study sessions a challenge for you? Is your child’s concentration levels dropping? It’s time to take a look at the study space. It is well known that the environment we are in affects the way we think and feel. So, it makes sense that if we want to create an environment that helps us to stay focused and motivated, we should make sure it is aligned with Vastu principles. Here are 8 steps to create a study space that is in line with Vastu principles and helps to increase the concentration levels of your child.

Right location for the study room

The study room should always be in the east or west of the house. We can also consider North as a good direction for the study room, but east is specifically considered as the best.

Keep the room clean and bright

The study room should always be well lit and organized. The books and the stationaries should be kept in an organized form.

Decide the colour scheme

Use of pastel colours and lighter shades in the study room will always increase the concentration of the child.

Have a wall behind the study table

You should always have a wall behind the study table. There should be no doors or windows behind the chair on which the student studies.

No empty walls

Make sure that there is no empty wall even in front of the child because staring at an empty wall is considered a bad thing and this will degrade the concentration. We can place posters, a clock, or anything which is motivational in the room instead of having an empty wall in front or back of the student.

Choose the right shape for the study table

Sneha Jain, a Tarot Card Reader, Reiki Expert and the Founder of The Hope Tarot, says, “The shape of the study table should be regular, square, or rectangle. Avoid any irregular shapes or circular study tables.”

No mirrors

There should be no mirrors on the front of the study table. The student should not see their reflection while they are studying.

Place crystals

One can use crystals like clear quartz or amethyst on the study table. They can specifically be kept in the south direction of the study table to increase the concentration and viability of the student.
