Oops.
This isn’t the biggest of deals when it comes to a potential typo on the new Kansas City Chiefs’ rings, but it’s worth noting if it’s true.
As many folks pointed out, in the renderings of the latest bling from the Chiefs, there’s a listing of the teams they beat in the playoffs on their way to the Super Bowl LVIII title, including the Miami Dolphins. The photos show the Dolphins listed as the No. 7 seed … but they were the No. 6 seed (hat tip to Pro Football Talk).
There’s no official word on whether that number ended up on the rings, but others noticed too:
I've only seen this one graphic so far, but… the Dolphins were definitely the 6-seed! https://t.co/kgWp2qlQZr pic.twitter.com/FWrZm0NXZ0

A typo in a ring that costs this much is exactly the kind of mistake I would make and would never stop thinking of for the rest of my life https://t.co/hZ744BcdJ8

The @Chiefs really gave all their players rings with a typo….Miami was a 6 seed, not a 7. Oof 😂 https://t.co/jDrh5oTa58 pic.twitter.com/HUXNbyoUsY
