A new dark drama has been released on Netflix, telling the story of a nuclear disaster in Japan.
The Days explores the catastrophe in Japan from three different points of view; those who put their lives in danger, the government’s and corporate organisations’. The synopsis for the eight-part series read: “Blamed by some, hailed as heroes by others, those involved with Fukushima Daiichi face a deadly, invisible threat – an unprecedented nuclear disaster.”
The show is based on a true story from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster which happened on March 11, 2011. It was caused by a 9.1 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Japan’s main island, Honshu which shifted the earth off its axis due to its force.
