Ireland's temperatures won't recover for long with another chilly blast to arrive by Monday.
Met Eireann are expecting a slight improvement this weekend but it will be short lived as freezing conditions return on Monday night.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "A bright day will follow on Monday with sunny spells and some scattered showers, especially in the northwest where it will be breezy. A moderate westerly wind will prevail elsewhere and highest temperatures will range 8 to 10 degrees.
