Legendary jockey Rachael Blackmore retires from racing: ‘I’m sad but also incredibly grateful’

Rachael Blackmore, the Cheltenham Gold Cup and Grand National-winning jockey, has retired from racing.

The 35-year-old shot to superstardom when she rode the Henry de Bromhead-trained Minella Times to glory at the world's greatest steeplechase at Aintree in 2021, creating history as the first woman to do so in 182 years.
