The Miss Universe Organization has publicly backed reigning titleholder Fátima Bosch after Thai pageant executive Nawat Itsaragrisil claimed authorities were accelerating the process to seek an arrest warrant against her, reviving a dispute that began with their viral confrontation during the 2025 competition.
Itsaragrisil said in an Instagram Story posted this weekend, that Bosch was "subject to an expedited process for the issuance of an arrest warrant" in Thailand. He said the case involved alleged defamation, false accusations and the dissemination of false information, and shared an image that appeared to show a Thai police document.
