Hot off the heels of his Lead Actor nod at this year’s Emmy Awards, the internet’s Hot Rodent Boyfriend, Jeremy Allen White, has rekindled his on-screen chemistry with The Bear co-star, Molly Gordon.
Molly, who plays Carmy’s childhood friend-turned-lover-turned-ex, Claire ‘Claire Bear’ Dunlap, in the hit series, was a welcome addition to season two, putting a loved-up pep in Carmy’s erratic, brooding step. That was until the inevitable happened and Carmy’s self-destructive behaviour returned in full, finale-making force, garnering a collective sigh from audiences worldwide.
But, in a case of life not imitating art, the two were spotted getting cosy in Los Angeles recently, confirming that Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto’s inability to pick up the phone for the entire third season of The Bear, has been forgiven by ‘Claire Bear’. Praise be!
Are Jeremy Allen White and Rosalía Still Together?
White was first linked to the Spanish pop star in October 2023, after images of the pair at Jeremy’s favourite location – the farmers market – made their way across social media.
The Spanish singer and Jeremy Allen White were papped around LA over the next six months, with the most recent sightings as of July 2024, when Rosalía reportedly joined the actor at a Mr. Beef pop-up event to celebrate the release of season 3 of The Bear.
Sadly, the off-screen kiss apparently signals that Jeremy Allen White’s relationship with Rosalía is no longer.
While Jeremy Allen White was rumoured to have briefly dated model and actress Ashley Moore, his relationship with Rosalía was his longest fling since filing for divorce from his ex-wife Addison Timlin.
Jeremy Allen White And Addison Timlin’s Relationship
Actress Addison Timlin and Jeremy Allen White reportedly started dating back in 2013, but their friendship began in 2007, when the young actors starred in the 2008 film Afterschool, together.
The couple were basically childhood sweethearts, with Addison hinting at the burgeoning relationship in a 2013 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, saying “I’ve got a sweetheart who I will not disclose, but yes, he’d be the guy. We have a nice foundation from being friends for a long period of time, and then it took a hard right turn into romance.”
In 2018, Jeremy and Addison welcomed their first daughter, Ezer Billie White, with an announcement post on Instagram that read “Welcome to the world baby girl, it just got so much brighter.”
After getting engaged in April 2019, White and Addison officially married at the Beverley Hills courthouse in Los Angeles in October 2019.
Just a year after the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary, Addison gave birth to their second daughter, Dolores Wild White.
The couple were seemingly untouchable, having managed to remain unscathed by Jeremy’s rapidly rising fame thanks to the hit series Shameless, and of course, The Bear.
In a sweet Instagram post on the night of Jeremy’s win at the Golden Globes in January 2023, the couple appeared to be as strong as ever.
Sadly, that wasn’t the case, with Addison Timlin filing for divorce from the star of The Bear in May of 2023.
The shock announcement came after Addison spoke about the difficulties of co-parenting in a candid post, revealing the split publicly for the first time.
“Being a single mom is not how I pictured it,” Timlin began her caption. “It is so f—ing hard. It is all out covered in s— crying on the floor kick you in the shins screaming with no sound coming out hard. It’s not the natural order of things.
While their relationship wasn’t to be, the pair have a strong co-parenting relationship and are regularly seen out in public as a family.
Molly Gordon And Jeremy Allen White
In a 2023 interview with Shondaland, the Booksmart actress spoke about being cast in The Bear and specifically, getting to work with White: “I never thought that I would get to be included in something like The Bear and to work opposite Jeremy [Allen White], who I think is one of the best actors of our generation. That they would allow this loser to join him and everyone else who is so brilliant on that show … literally, I would’ve played a dishrag. So, the fact that they allowed me to look at Jeremy is … I’m forever grateful.”
If the on-screen chemistry is enough to go by, this IRL love story might just make it off the pass and into the long haul.
That is, as long as the internet’s labelling of White as the next Pete Davidson isn’t taken to heart.
Until then, we’ll continue to live in our peaceful Carmy and Claire Bear bliss
