Is it better that the Boston Celtics have five days off while they wait to see who their 2024 NBA East semis opponent is? The Celtics are looking at an extra-long pause in their postseason action as they wait for the winner of the Cleveland Cavaliers – Orlando Magic Eastern Conference first round series.

The winner of that matchup will face the Celtics in the next round, with Game 7 for those teams coming on this next Sunday (May 5) afternoon. Could this long break for Boston hurt the Celtics by bringing some rustiness to the team? Or might it be a blessing for injured big man Kristaps Porzingis to heal up?
