Temperatures across the UK are set to hit as high as 40C today and tomorrow.
The Met Office has issued red and amber weather warnings due to soaring temperatures, which have hit record highs. With that in mind, people are trying to find the best ways to keep cool.
Manchester Evening News reported that Met Office chief executive Penny Endersby urged people to take care. She said: “Please treat the warnings we are putting out as seriously as you would a red or amber warning from us for wind or snow and follow the advice."
