Ireland has enjoyed some glorious weather over the past week as things look hopeful of remaining relatively dry ahead of the May bank holiday weekend.
Met Eireann has forecast a mostly dry and sunny week ahead with just a few isolated showers appearing at times.
Monday will be a largely dry day with a mix of cloud and sunny spells, though some rain will break out during the afternoon, particularly in the southwest.

Highest temperatures will range between 11 to 16 degrees, with the mildest of conditions seen in the west.
Things will turn colder during the night with lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees.
Tuesday will be largely dry with sunny spells. However, a few showers are expected to break out during the day. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in a light or moderate easterly breeze.
Any lingering showers will soon die out to leave a dry night with clear spells.
Another mostly dry day with some sunny spells on Wednesday, but with a little more cloud about producing some well scattered showers.
It will be dry overnight with clear spells and light breezes, allowing some mist of fog patches locally. Chilly with lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees.
Thursday and Friday are set to remain relatively the same as temperatures stay around the 15 degree mark.
Looking ahead to the bank holiday weekend, temperatures should remain above average, providing the perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy the sunshine.
The week will be dominated by an anticyclone, which will be centred between Iceland and Scandinavia.
It will bring a mainly easterly airflow over Ireland with moderate northeast breezes, causing it to be mainly dry apart from a few showers in the south.
Daytime temperatures will be slightly above normal. The nights will be quite cold, but will be mostly frost-free.
For the first week in May, temperatures will be around average for the time of year.
Rainfall amounts will be slightly above average, but there will be some decent dry periods also. And thankfully, no extreme weather is expected.
