Ireland is set for a wintry change in weather and could "feel like January" in just a few days time.
Temperatures could dip below zero and snow showers could land just a days after unseasonably warm weather in Ireland this week.
The mercury hit 17C in some parts of the country this week with unusually mild conditions.
But Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather is anticipating the big change early next week.

He tweeted on Friday night: "Confidence increasing on the weather models for a blast of cold weather next week with a risk of some wintry showers. April could start off more like you’d expect January to!"
Met Eireann too confirmed a change is on the way but haven't been drawn on just how cold it could get.
A forecaster said: "A little more of a cloudier day Tuesday as the winds turn northerly and bring a cold change to the weather. Staying dry initially but a few showers will develop later in the day and our highs will reach 12 to 14 degrees in a northerly breeze. Cooler overnight with temperatures falling back down close to freezing too.
"A change expected on Wednesday as cooler air blankets the country with scattered showers feeding down throughout the afternoon and evening. Noticeably colder too with highs of 6 to 9 degrees in a brisk northerly wind."
But sun lovers should make the most of the weekend with lovely conditions to stick around until the start of next week at least.
The forecaster added: "Mist and fog will clear from most parts on Saturday morning and it will be another dry and pleasant day with spells of sunshine. However, there is a possibility of some coastal fog lingering during the day. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in a light breeze.
"Any mist and fog will clear early on Sunday morning as good long sunny spells develop across the country. It will stay mainly dry too but a little bit of cloud will bubble up in the west. Highs will reach 13 to 17 degrees with light southeasterlies. In the evening the clear skies will allow some mist and fog patches to form. Overnight lows of 1 to 4 degrees with light winds."
