Christian Pulisic has not featured for Chelsea for 61 days. The USMNT star suffered a knee injury in the 1-0 Premier League defeat to Manchester City in January but returned to training in recent weeks.
In his absence, Graham Potter's side have won just twice - two 1-0 victories over Crystal Palace and Leeds - while losing five. The Blues' season relies solely on today's UEFA Champions League second-leg tie with Borussia Dortmund.
The Bundesliga outfit currently lead the last-16 tie 1-0 after Karim Adeyemi's 63rd-minute solo strike. Edin Terzic's side have been in red-hot form since the World Cup, winning their last 10 games.

They are currently level on points with Bayern Munich after 23 games and on course to possibly win their first league title since 2012. The second-leg tie at Stamford Bridge won't be an easy ask for Potter's side, but they will have Pulisic available for selection.
Potter confirmed that Pulisic "is in the squad" for the second-leg after missing out on a return to action against Leeds. It remains unclear how much of a role the 24-year-old will play in west London, with plenty of options in the attacking areas.
Mykhailo Mudryk and Joao Felix - who were both named in the Champions League squad in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's absence - have been preferred by Potter in recent weeks. And at the weekend, Raheem Sterling joined Kai Havertz and Felix in attack.
Any action on the pitch for Pulisic will be a major boost for Chelsea for the remainder of the season. The former USA captain could come up against his former employers after making 127 appearances for the German side before sealing a move to England in 2019.
