Nottingham Forest have handed themselves a lifeline. Victory over Brighton in midweek has lifted them out of the Premier League bottom three. On Saturday they take on another team whose name starts with "B" who have taken the top-flight by storm this season, Brentford.
However, this game is away from the City Ground, the scene of Wednesday's famous 3-1 success, and will prove an altogether tougher challenge. That said, Forest managed to score twice in losing at Liverpool last Saturday. Couple that with a bit of the defensive solidity seen on Wednesday night, and they may have a chance.
In fact, ninth-placed Brentford were without a win in six before their 2-0 midweek success at Chelsea, and have become draw specialists at HQ, a result that would probably suit Forest down to the ground on Saturday.
