The recent decisions made by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have sparked considerable backlash, especially regarding the treatment of Mohun Bagan Super Giant (MBSG) and the perceived favouritism towards clubs Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.

The AFC has reportedly decided to relocate AFC Champions League match away from Iran, which follows the punishment of MBSG for opting not to travel to Iran due to safety concerns.
