Is Arsenal v Sporting on TV? Channel, kick-off time and how to watch Champions League quarter-final

Arsenal return to Champions League action tonight with one foot already in the semi-finals after beating Sporting 1-0 away in the first leg.

But it’s a slender lead that could easily be overturned and Sporting will look to pounce against Mikel Arteta’s men, who will be bruised after slipping up in the Premier League title race at the weekend.

The Gunners lost 2-1 to Bournemouth and although they remain six points clear of Manchester City they look far from the invincible side who dominated all competitions earlier in the season.

Sporting meanwhile are on a run of three straight league victories and although they were unable to break down David Raya in the first leg, will fancy their chances at the Emirates Stadium.

Here’s everything you need to know.

When is Arsenal v Sporting?

Arsenal host Sporting at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday 15 April, with kick-off at 8pm BST.

How can I watch?

Viewers in the UK can watch the match on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate, as well as streaming service HBO Max.

Confirmed line-ups

Arsenal XI: Raya, Mosquera, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie; Rice, Zubimendi, Eze; Madueke, Gyokeres, Martinelli.

Sporting XI: Silva, Quaresma, Diomande, Inacio, Araujo; Hjulmand, Morita; Geny, Trincao, Goncalves; Suarez.

Team news

Mikel Arteta has made three changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Bournemouth last week.

In defence, Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie come in at full-back in place of Ben White and Myles Lewis-Skelly, while the only other change sees Eberechi Eze replace Kai Havertz in attacking midfield.

Sporting boss Rui Borges has made just two changes to the side that lost 1-0 in the reverse fixture at the Alvalade last week. In defence, Eduardo Quaresma comes in at right-back in place of Iván Fresneda, while captain Morten Hjulmand returns in midfield in place of João Simões.
