It is a huge weekend for Rangers as they travel to take on Aberdeen in week number seven of the cinch Premiership.
And it is a particularly big, and nerve-racking, occasion for boss Gio van Bronckhorst. The Light Blues make the trip on the back on two 4-0 defeats on the bounce. It was a tough test in Amsterdam as Ajax thrashed Rangers on Wednesday. And who can forget the Old Firm embarrassment last weekend?
It could be make or break for the Dutch gaffer whose side are in desperate need of a morale-boosting performance in the Granite City. And they will be in for a battle, with Dons boss Jim Goodwin tipping his team to 'hurt' the Ibrox outfit in his pre-match prediction. Aberdeen can actually overtake the Gers if they keep all three points in the north east on Saturday, which could be the final straw for the Ibrox chiefs when it comes to GVB's job.
