2XKO is the latest game from Riot Games. It’s a 2v2 fighting game featuring characters and locations from League of Legends. With 11 champions available during early access, there’s plenty of fun to have by yourself or in a duo.
Consoles are a core platform for any fighting game, and 2XKO is no exception, so here’s all the information regarding its console release.

What platforms is 2XKO available on?

During the early access, 2XKO is available solely on Windows PC. You can download it for free from the official website or the Riot Client. It takes around 5GB of free space and is compatible with a wide range of hardware (GTX 960 at minimum specifications).
With the console launch, 2XKO will also become available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Unfortunately, only the current generation consoles are supported, likely to ensure the best performance and netcode, especially considering its 2026 competitive roadmap.
When is 2XKO coming to consoles?

Riot Games confirmed 2XKO is coming to consoles with season one launch on Jan. 20 – 21 (depending on your timezone). The new season also marks the official launch of the game, the addition of Caitlyn to the playable roster, a new battle pass, and more.
Here are the 2XKO estimate release dates and times:
- PT: Jan. 20 at 5pm
- CT: Jan. 20 at 7pm
- ET: Jan. 20 at 8pm
- BRT: Jan. 20 at 10pm
- GMT: Jan. 21 at 1am
- CET: Jan. 21 at 2am
- GST: Jan. 21 at 5am
- SGT: Jan. 21 at 9am
- KST: Jan. 21 at 10am
- JST: Jan. 21 at 10am
- AEDT: Jan. 21 at 12pm
These times are approximate and may change closer to the game’s launch. Riot Games stated the game will go offline for the scheduled maintenance from 11am to 8pm CT on Jan. 20, which already conflicts with the times above. You can still play the game during the maintenance in offline mode, as long as you’ve logged in at least once on your device.
With the launch of the console version, 2XKO introduces cross-platform and cross-progression. This means you can play with your friends on any platform and your progress carries over from device to device, without any need to start over.
Any progress you made on PC during the early access period, including unlocked champions, cosmetics, and more, also carries over into the season one launch. You can take your time familiarizing yourself with the game and start unlocking things right now before eventually migrating to consoles.
