'Irritated' Billie Faiers fumes at Phillip Schofield after TOWIE star's ITV This Morning slot

Former The Only Way is Essex star, Billie Faiers, has shared her reaction following a slot on ITV show This Morning. And programme co-host Phillip Schofield has come under fire. Taking to her podcast, which she hosts with sister Samantha, the reality TV star says her appearance on the popular show was ruined by the host.

Billie's new homeware collection, Chapter B for Next, had a scheduled appearance on the Thursday, February 23's edition of the programme as part of the This Morning's 'Lust List' segment. However, amid show 'chaos' Billie felt the products didn't quite get the moment they deserved.

According to Manchester Evening News, as the show moved to showcase the Chapter B items, Phillip, 60, revealed a vase has been smashed off camera and footage of the broken pieces being swept up was shown to viewers. He joked: "It was Matt who dropped it. He dropped it and you heard him drop, then kick it two or three times in the air. It took hours for it to smash!"

Billie shared her frustration of the incident and the refocusing of attention during the latest episode of their The Sam and Billie Show podcast. Billie explained: "So my little 30 second feature for my homeware collection was completely taken away from me because Phil decided to bring up the smashed vase that happened in rehearsal so the camera went to that and then, next thing you know, they move on to the next one."

She added: "I was so irritated because I thought why aren't they just like actually talking about the nice things that were in front of them?" Sam then said that she thinks Phil has "got it in for" her sister after a previous This Morning appearance when he quizzed her on how much her lavish wedding to husband Greg Shephard in 2019 cost.

Billie then added: "I don't know if it was intentional." The Manchester Evening News has contacted This Morning for comment.

The mum-of-three also said she felt "irritated" by the snub and felt "silly" as she couldn't post the This Morning feature on her Instagram to which Sam joked: "You should post it put a big thumbs up and say, 'Thanks, Phil for highlighting the fact that one of your staff members smashed my vase in rehearsals.'"

The segment Billie was referring to saw Bryony Blake flanked by an array of different products, ranging from beauty bargains, to a new range of Heinz condiments. She wrapped up her appearance with a look at the new homeware collection from the Mummy Diaries star, which also included cushions and cocktail glasses. As Phillip explained that someone had smashed the vase, Bryony admitted that she thought something would end up being broken, while adding: "He tried so hard to save it!"
