The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) on Monday lodged a complaint with the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD) over the alleged irregular trading of More Return Plc (MORE) shares.
The complaint was filed by a senior official in the SET's legal affairs office, said Pol Lt Gen Jiraphob Bhuridej, commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau, along with information related to irregular trading. The filing was made after the SET suspended trading of the energy, water and property-related company.
More Return Plc (MORE) was allegedly involved in irregular trading of its stock on Thursday and Friday last week.
MORE shares opened at 2.90 baht on Thursday, up 4.3% from prior trading. The price then dropped to 1.95 baht and further fell on Friday to 1.34 baht, which prompted the SET to notify investors to trade with caution while requiring brokers to increase measures to supervise trading such securities.
