A man who was brought back from Greece to Ireland last week after a swimming accident has died.
Jonathan 'Jiles' Tobin passed away at Cork University Hospital, having spent three months in a vegetative state following an accident in July.
The 42-year-old had almost drowned after getting into difficulty in Crete.

He had been brought home last week by an Air Ambulance on October 26th.
In a social media post at the time, his mother Mag wrote: "Whatever happens, our Jonathan is coming home where he belongs."
However, he failed to recover from his injuries and passed away on Tuesday evening.
He is survived by his parents Margaret (Mag) and Shane and his two brothers Ryan and Aaron.
His funeral details are yet to be confirmed.
