Joe Hodge has been backed to 'grow and improve' following his penalty miss against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.
Hodge and Ruben Neves missed their spot-kicks as Forest won 4-3 on penalties to advance to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup after the game finished 1-1 in normal time.
But Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui believes Republic of Ireland U21 international Hodge will bounce back from the miss and praised the 20-year-old for showing "commitment and character" by taking a penalty.
