An Irish woman was left in shock after seeing the price of two chicken fillets during a late-night shop this week.
The woman explained that she was doing her weekly grocery shop in Tesco on Tuesday evening when she noticed that the meat "shelves were barren.". She managed to spot a two-pack of Moy Park chicken breasts and was putting them in her trolley when she "nearly died" at the price.
She told the Irish Mirror: "I know the world is fully aware of the rising cost of inflation but I had to share the below photograph" to show "the reality of what we are experiencing."
