Temperatures will range from 14C to 20C on Sunday, with one county enjoying the warmest conditions ahead of a mainly dry week.
In its forecast for today, Met Eireann has confirmed that Waterford will see temperatures of 20C this afternoon, while the rest of the country will have to settle for temperatures in the mid to high teens.
For the most part, Sunday will be a dry day for most of the country, but showers may develop in southern areas in the late afternoon.

The nationwide forecast for Sunday reads: "Staying cloudy but dry for most areas. Just a few patches of light rain and drizzle, mainly affecting Leinster and Munster.
"Later this afternoon, a few brighter spells are expected, although heavy showers will also develop in southern areas. Highest temperatures today will range from 14 degrees in the north to 20 degrees in the south in light northerly breezes."
As for tonight, it will be primarily dry with clear spells but some areas of the south will endure a couple of showers. Overnight, temperatures will drop to between 5C and 11C, with the coldest conditions in the northwest.
The coming week will be mainly dry, with just occasional light rain and showers breaking up spells of sunshine. Temperatures will remain in the mid to high teens for most of the country, but coolest conditions will be felt in the northwest.
