There'll be a lot of 'muggy' and 'heavy' mentioned during small talk about the weather this weekend as most of Ireland endures overcast conditions but quite high temperatures.
Met Eireann has outlined its weekend forecast and it's not as positive as was initially expected as there will be little in the way of sunshine across Saturday and Sunday.
That being said, temperatures will reach as high as 19C in some areas, with the warmest conditions expected in regions where hazy sunshine breaks through the cloud.

While patchy rain is forecast across much of the country, the southeast and east of Ireland will escape the worst of the wet conditions.
The north and west of the country will be cooler and wetter into Sunday, with the southeast enjoying the most pleasant conditions throughout the weekend.
"Rather cloudy today with patchy rain and drizzle in places - mist locally too," a Met Eireann spokesperson said of Saturday. "This afternoon and evening, scattered outbreaks of rain will develop, mainly across the western half of the country. The southeast and east of the country will stay driest. Calm with highest temperatures of 15 to 18 or 19 degrees, best values where hazy sunshine gets through.
"Tonight, there will be outbreaks of rain and drizzle in many areas. It will be most persistent early in the night, especially in Ulster and Connacht. Much of east and southeast Leinster will stay mainly dry. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees with light variable breezes.
"Sunday morning will be mostly cloudy with patchy light rain or drizzle in places. Some sunny spells in the southeast. The afternoon and evening, will be mainly dry with some bright intervals. However, showers will develop in southern parts of Munster and Leinster. Highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees in the north and northwest to 18 or 19 degrees in the southeast with light northerly breezes."
