Irish Twitter users were left in tears laughing as Senator Lynn Ruane posted clips with Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes learning some Dublin lingo.
Margolyes starred as Professor Pomona Sprout in the Harry Potter movie franchise and is one of the most widely regarded actresses on stage and screen in the UK.
She has also become a hilarious regular guest on the coach of the Graham Norton Show for her pure hilarity.
The clips on Ruane's profile have left people begging for information on what they’re up to and are even calling for a Netflix series featuring the duo.
In the clip, Ruane says: “Story bud, lesson number three,” before going on to repeat it
As the actress continues to pronounce the Dub term in a perfect accent, she ended up leaving viewers howling when she asked “who is bud?”
The clip has been retweeted, liked, and commented on hundreds of times as one person wrote: “Loving all of this. Know the genius pairing of two awesome women will yield deadly stuff. The craic besides must be such a joy for everyone involved.
“Glad ye have one another. #mnásome on so many brilliant levels.”
Another said: “@Netflix can you please commission a road trip series with these two amazing humans? I would so stick around for a price hike if you did!”
A third added: “No, I am in tears. This is brilliant.”
Among the many comments was a fourth that said: “This Lesson Series will be better than the documentary. Love it. Keep them coming. Try her on “I will in me hole.”
Margolyes is in Ireland to film a documentary with Senator Ruane. 'Lady Gregory – Ireland’s First Social Influencer' will see them team up for a road trip exploring the life of the playwright and Abbey Theatre founder.
Last year, it was reported that Kite Entertainment was awarded €178,000 for the two-part RTÉ One series about Lady Gregory. It should air something in the autumn or early next year.
