We know it's only just gone the end of summer - but perhaps it's time you started thinking about Christmas.
That's the hope of many retailers, as a few have started to bring in stock for the festive season.
Famously, Brown Thomas open their 'Christmas shop' in August, but this has been the way for a good while.

But now, there's a trend creeping into the supermarkets where Christmas is coming earlier and earlier, and it seems 2022 is no different.
You will now see selection boxes and tins of Roses, Celebrations and other sweets across the country in multiple supermarkets like Dunnes Stores and Tesco.
A quick reminder for you: we're still over 100 days until Christmas and we haven't even had Halloween either.
But that hasn't stopped the retail giants from bringing in some festive cheer, with offers including two tins of the sweets for €11.
Some people are happy to cash in, but a lot more are fuming that we are barely into September and already have to think about Christmas.
One fumed: "My local Tesco already has their Christmas isle stocked. This is depressing.
"It is not okay that Tesco has Christmas chocolates etc out" added a second.
A third captured the mood perfectly, saying: "Dunnes has a display of Christmas decorations. September. Groan."
Another grimly predicted: "Are Christmas tins of chocolates already in the shops so that we can buy them before household budgets collapse?"
Which side are you on - stocking up, or is it way way too early to even think about it?
