CJ Stander may have retired from the professional game but he proved he's still not someone you want to meet in the open field.
This brilliant clip has surfaced from a club game in his native South Africa with rugby fans across the globe loving the trademark power on show.
The 32-year-old became a fan favourite at Munster having joined in 2012 and quickly emerged as a key player for Ireland too once he qualified to switch nations.
The no. 8 earned 51 international caps before opting to walk away from the game last year in order to move his young family home having been stuck away from family and friends in South Africa due to the pandemic.
It was a big loss to Irish rugby but at least today we got this vintage reminder of what he brought to the game.
Fans tweeted their delight at seeing him flatten some poor outmatched amateur foe.
One wrote: "Some things never change…"
To which someone else cleverly joked: "Yup. Still not looking for the pass."
Paul commented: "CJ's seating emporium is back in business :D"
While Rhys added: "Yessssssss lololol."
