Irish punters were quick to back Rory McIlroy for a big 2022 after he scooped the €18m FedEx Cup on Sunday night.
The Northern Irishman started the week six shots behind leader Scottie Scheffler and a triple bogey on his first hole of the week all but ruled himself out of contention.
But McIlroy stunned the field and took advantage of a sub-par Scottie Scheffler final round to win his third FedEx Cup and pocketed the €18m first prize.

The victory sparked a betting frenzy from Irish punters with many thinking McIlroy will win his first major since 2014.
Not for the lack of trying, McIlroy finished no worse than eight in each of this year's four majors.
And Ladbrokes have slashed his odds to win a major in 2022 from 5/1 to 9/4 after last night's victory.
They also said that the victory was the 'worst by miles' with many punters backing Rory at 12/1 at the start of the week.
And Boylesports have also slashed their odds with his odds to win a career grand slam going from 10/1 to 9/1. and is now just priced at 8/1 to win the Open at Hoylake next year.
Spokesperson for Boylesports Lawrence Lyons said of the surge of betting: "With a career grand slam in sight, punters are already eyeing up a green jacket for the FedEx Cup champion and next year’s Open venue holds fond memories for Rory McIlroy too.
"We had to go 2/1 from 3/1 that he’ll be a major champion next year within hours of his Tour Championship win and the fact he’s now leading the market in all four majors indicates the level of confidence that he’ll be the one to beat next year."
And Boylesports have also listed their Rory McIlroy 2023 golf specials.
