A number of Irish pubs were forced to close their doors after a huge fight broke out in Galway.
Several pubs, restaurants and shops at Ballinasloe Fair made the decision to close while the terrifying incident took place.
Locals said they were "saddened" at the closures but admitted that the recurring scenes of fighting at the Fair had "made them stay away".

Footage captured of the incident shows two men sparring in broad daylight on a street in the Townparks area of Ballinasloe as a crowd gathered to watch the spectacle.
Around one minute in, another one-on-one fight begins with a man appearing to try to break the second fight up.
Ballinasloe Fair is one of the oldest and biggest horse fairs in Europe and has been held in the area for over 300 years, but this year, several pubs announced they would be shut for the event.
Towards the end of the two-minute clip, a Garda arrives and seemingly stops the fight as the video ends, reports Galway Beo.
Joseph Kelly's pub, better known as Joe's Bar, announced that it would not be opening to customers while the event was on.
It said: "Unfortunately we won't be opening today, Sunday 2nd October. This decision wasn't taken lightly. We won't be making any further comment on this particular matter on social media. Thanks Cáit and Joby."
When contacted by Galway Beo, the bar responded: "There is no further comment to make on this matter."
A local added that a number of local "pubs, restaurants and shops" have chosen to keep their doors closed during the event, which is usually a busy period for businesses in the area.
He said: "What sort of a fair is Ballinasloe October Fair, in its 300th year, turning into? Pubs, Restaurants and Shops closed during what was always the time they made their money/profit for the year. Saddened to hear this and then see the social media clips that make me stay away."
Another added: "The town was a disaster this year. Inviting people to come to Ballinasloe for the 300th anniversary and the place like a ghost town and prices doubled everywhere that was open."
Others claimed that locals were stopped from entering many premises over the weekend.
They said: "By far the emptiest fair we've ever had in town and for its 300th year. Stalls being charged so much that the gig rig was moved down into the busiest area to fill up the emptiness of what was once manic.
"Also, numerous locals were stopped from entering many premises over the weekend. Makes zero sense to invite the world to the town and then shut it down."
While another commented: "In other towns that have Festivals they decorate the towns with flowers etc. They provide parking for cars, camper vans etc. Ballinasloe on the other hand, take away flowers and close off parking spaces along with barriers and one-ton blocks and gates."
