Irish people have been sharing their dismay at the price difference between the same bottle of wine in Spain and Ireland.

One eagle-eyed shopper spotted the popular Rioja wine on sale for just €4 in the sunny European country, compared to €13 here.

Taking to Reddit, they posted an image showing the price comparison, writing: "I know wages are generally lower in Spain, but it's still a joke."
