Irish Olympic Boxer Emmet Brennan has slammed last night's fight between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury and has labelled it as 'eye poison'.
In a series of tweets Brennan rubbished the event and insisted he would 'refuse to look at Jake Paul v Fury'. Despite this insistence he did predict a victory for the American YouTube star.
Fury defeated Paul by a split-decision after eight rounds of gruelling boxing. The fight was attended by celebrities and sporting stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Mike Tyson.
After the Briton's victory Brennan once again took to Twitter to concede his prediction was wrong. He also took the opportunity to further blast the event.

"Prediction was wrong,
"But judging by Twitter I’m the real winner after not putting myself through 8 rounds of eye poison Please take this away from them and give real boxers the publicity and profile you gave two novices."
Brennan represented Ireland in the men's light heavyweight event at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Famously he gave an emotional interview after losing to Dilshodbek Ruzmetov at the event.
