An Irish woman has died after she reportedly travelled to Turkey to undergo a medical procedure.
The woman is understood to have travelled to the popular holiday destination last month, where she passed away on April 30.
As the Irish Independent reports, the woman, from the south of the country, tragically lost her life during the procedure. Her funeral took place in her local town this week, with mourners encouraged to donate to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.

The woman, who has two sons, has been described by friends and family as a "beautiful lady" who will be missed by all who knew her.
One person said: "Rest easy. Our lovely cousin gone far too early." A second commented: "A million memories of this beautiful lady. I'll miss our chats and you. Thoughts with your beautiful boys and your family."
A third said: "Rest In Peace cuz, what a devastating shock to so many. You shall be missed. Sending love at this heartbreaking time."
A fourth wrote: "Deepest Sympathy to her boys and her family on this sad occasion. I will remember her as a person full of laughter and a smiling face whenever you would meet her. Gone too soon. Rest in peace my friend. Forever young."
A fifth added: "I am so sorry your life ended at to young an age. Go forth and look over your lovely family and friends. For your family your journey is just beginning through your loss. Always remember the good times xx a bed of heaven to you."
While someone else said: "Rest in peace, will miss your smiley face around here, condolences to all your family and especially your two boys."
The Department of Foreign Affairs told the Irish Independent it is aware of the case and has already provided consular assistance to the family.
It added that it does not comment on the details of specific cases.
