Denis O'Regan's wait to become the first ever jockey to record a winner at every racecourse in Ireland and the UK goes on after his two mounts were beaten on Thursday.
The Cork jockey's latest trip to Hereford saw him finish second on 3/1 favourite I Giorni before he was forced to pull up 11/4 shot From This Moment in the third last race of the day.
The Anthony Honeyball-trained I Giorni was beaten ten lengths into second by the well gambled Kalpaga, who was backed into 9/1 from 25s, before From This Moment was pulled up.

Kalpaga's win gave trainer Tim Vaughan his first success at Hereford in four years, while it was jockey Alan Johns' first victory at the track in six years.
O'Regan said after From This Moment's run that the horse was never travelling, forcing him to pull the mare up before the third last fence.
Thursday's meeting was the last of the season at Hereford meaning O'Regan will have to wait until October to attempt to ride a winner at the track again, having made four trips to the course this season.
