Irish people heading to Ibiza are being warned over the current crackdown on noise and anti-social behaviour as many holidaymakers have been left furious.
Police and government officials have had to order some of the island's high-profile party nights to limit noise or shut down before 1am after complaints from locals living in the area.
This marks the latest move in a series of changes to end rowdy behaviour among tourists but has angered people who have spent a lot of money on tickets for events featuring some of the world's best DJs.

Furious holidaymakers have slammed the move claiming music is played louder at nearby bars than the party venues in the resort of Playa D'en Bossa - and also stay open longer than the clubs that close at around 1am.
Each year thousands of young people gather to enjoy not only the hot weather and the beaches but also the array of clubs with international DJs playing to vast audiences.
Local residents have welcomed the attempt to cut noise levels claiming they are unable to sleep during the summer months because of the noise and incidents of bad behaviour from tourists leaving the party venues.
One resident took to Facebook and pleaded with holidaymakers to consider neighbours living close to clubs such as Hi Ibiza, Ushuaia, and Pacha, which can currently command a price of €13 for a can of Coca-Cola.
The post stated: "Please take this behaviour home - you are not wanted here."
The famous DC-10 club, one of the oldest on Balearic Island, has been shut down by police because of excessive noise.
According to the deputy mayor, Pilar Ribas: "Facing the summer, what we do is try to control, as far as possible, the coexistence between neighbours, tourism and the different activities."
The crackdown is also in operation on the neighbouring island of Majorca, with drinks offers, party boats and bar crawls banned and the number of alcoholic drinks allowed at some all-inclusive hotels limited to six per person a day.
The official said most noise complaints are registered between 10pm and 1am is, mainly at weekends. Most are sorted before any action is needed, they claimed.
But a holidaymaker responded by claiming the police action had ruined their enjoyment of the legendary club nights which draw visitors from around the world to the events.
The unnamed holidaymaker said they had paid a great deal of money for tickets but were disgusted when venues were forced to reduce the volume.
Meanwhile, residents of the resort of San Antonio have also claimed Ibiza "is not a safe place to be after the sun goes down" and that anyone who walks alone is likely to be robbed.
One angry resident told a local newspaper: "Wonderful! The season has started! It is a great pity but San Antonio is the garbage dump of Ibiza (and the Balearic Islands)."
