Farmers looking to buy cattle at a Meath mart will also be able to bid for a date with a stunning blonde staff member who will be up for auction in ring one.
Jessica Morgan will take the bull by the horns on Monday at Carnaross Mart where auctioneer Rodney Windrum will take bids for a date with the 24-year old.
The Take Me Out auction is the mart's annual fundraiser for this year but humble Jessica doubts the proceeds won't match last year's sale of a bullock.
"It's all a bit of craic," said the native of Ardee, Co. Louth who has been working at the busy mart office for the last two years.
"I've been single for ages and the lads keep slagging me that I need a man.
"I am nervous but it's all for a good cause. The date will be the choice of the buyer, so God only knows where I'll end up," she laughed
"There are hundreds of men who come here each week, from teenage years right up into their 80s, so I think there will be a few scratching their heads who haven't heard of the charity auction when they see me on Monday in the ring."
When asked to describe her ideal man, she quipped: "Tall, good looking with road frontage and land.
"Last year, we raised €3,000 for charity through the sale of a bullock but I'd say you could knock a zero off that for what I'll make!"
"I'll be standing in ring one from midday on Monday and there'll be all types of heifers and bulls and calves being auctioned around me in other rings, so it will be fun.
Manager Padraig McElroy said that each year, the mart holds a fundraising event but this is probably the most novel yet
"Whoever gets Jessica is a very lucky man," he said
"We are taking online bids too so I'd ask everyone to put their best foot forward and their highest bid to the auctioneer for a chance to take her out."
The novel auction has gained traction on social media with comments such as :'Some woman for one woman, go Jess. Fair play.
"Get the dust blown off the cheque books, you will need them n Carnaross on Monday,' while another said 'there will be lads in that mart that have never seen the inside of the mart before.'
