Dublin drivers woke up this morning to icy conditions with frost covering cars across the county.
The cold snap has arrived with temperatures dropping to -4C overnight. Motorists have been warned to take care this morning as roads may be treacherous.
They have also been warned by gardai not to make one big mistake when defrosting their cars. And anyone caught could face a serious fine or even jail.
