Beyoncé has announced dates for her new Renaissance tour, but Dublin fans have been left devastated as the capital is currently not included on the list.
The legendary pop star took to Instagram today to announce her tour dates for Europe, but major cities including Dublin were left off the announcement. Beyoncé' s tour is set to start on May 10 in Stockholm, and then Brussels on May 14, followed by a string of mainland European dates before heading to the UK for gigs in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland and London.
However, like Madonna and Coldplay in recent weeks, the 'Single Ladies' hitmaker seems to have opted to skip over Ireland which means that her devoted Irish fans will have to travel abroad to see their idol perform on stage. The singer last came to Irish shores in 2016, when she performed at Croke Park in front of thousands of delighted fans.

Meanwhile, Irish fans took to Twitter to voice their dismay that the 41-year-old star won't perform in Dublin. One person tweeted: "Beyoncé not playing in Ireland? That’s a bit rude ain’t it."
A second added: "Is there still a chance she might add Ireland dates?!! I'm losing it here."
A third commented: "See if Beyoncé dosen't play Ireland I’ll actually bawl my eyes out and my poor mam will have to deal with me for days upon end." A fourth person said: "Devastated to hear this. Means we'll have to abroad now, raging."
A fifth person joked: "Beyoncé announces a world tour with no date in Dublin and so I’ll be pushing out buying a house for another six months to some time in 2035."
Heartbroken Irish fans have now also set up a petition on Change.org in a bid to sway the singer's mind. The 'Halo' singer will kick off the US leg of the tour on July 12 in Philadelphia.
She will then stop off at cities like Chicago, New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston and New Orleans. The upcoming tour marks Beyoncé first extended stretch on the road since the On the Run tour in 2018, when she made 48 stops across North America and Europe.
