Ireland’s pension boost shows what independent Scotland could do, say SNP

IRELAND'S €10-a-week pension increase shows what is possible when independent countries control their own future, the SNP have said.

The proposal, which RTE says is set to be agreed on, will see Irish pensioners receive the equivalent of £13,654.98 a year.
