Met Eireann has confirmed a sudden change in the weather for the May bank holiday weekend.
Ireland has been enjoying mostly sunny, dry and bright conditions over the past week, but that’s set to come to an abrupt end this weekend as the weather goes ‘into reverse’ and overcast conditions move in bringing rain.
The national forecaster says there will be “a change to cloudier weather with some rain over the weekend” - but it’s not all bad news.
