Ireland weather: November start sees 'severely disruptive' conditions amid triple warning from Met Eireann

Met Eireann has forecast a brutal start to the month of November with a triple warning in place as the country braces for high-speed winds and torrential rain.

Today - Tuesday - will be breezy with a mix of sunny spells and showers, which will be scattered this morning, but will become widespread across the country during the afternoon and evening.

Some of the showers will be heavy and prolonged with the possibility of hail. This cold snap will carry over into the night, with clear spells and just a few showers as the lowest temperatures hit 3 degrees in some areas.
