Ireland weather: Met Eireann warn of flooding before major turn around as temperatures climb to 21C for glorious bank holiday weekend

Ireland is set for some horrid conditions over the coming days as the weather remains unsettled in most parts before clearing away just in time for the bank holiday weekend.

Met Eireann has predicted temperatures to be relatively high throughout the week before an upsurge reaching a possible 21 degrees on Monday.

However, heavy rainfall is likely with thundery downpours likely on Friday, which could lead to surface flooding in places.
