Ireland is set for another mild week as weather remains settled over the coming days.
However, Met Eireann has warned that mist and fog will be seen across the country in the early morning, so motorists are advised to drive with care.
The north and northwest will see the worst of the conditions as rain becomes heavier later in the week, although sunny spells will continue to break through as it clears east.
Snow looks unlikely this week. However, a forecaster has warned that a wintery spell could be yet to arrive as the meteorological Winter continues.
They said: "Not to start that debate again but the meteorological season of Winter doesn't end until the end of February so we still have over a month of Winter ahead.
"Not saying it will be cold and snowy but February is often the month with highest risk of snow in Ireland."
