Met Eireann has confirmed a welcome jump in temperatures from Sunday after a chaotic week of freezing temperatures and treacherous road conditions.
In an abrupt change of weather, warmer temperatures will quickly overtake the recent low-pressure system with milder air coming in from the Atlantic.
The latest Irish forecast shows daytime highs of 11 to 13 degrees expected across Ireland on Sunday and Monday. However, before this change, the forecaster says to expect another cold night on Saturday.

A status yellow warning is in place for most of the country until 9:00 am on Sunday morning with ice in places leading to hazardous travel conditions, particularly on untreated roads and paths.

In the North, the UK Met Office has warned of more freezing fog and ice leadign to some travel disruption overnight on Saturday.
Sunday is set to be generally cloudy with scattered outbreaks of blustery rain, heaviest across southern and western counties, bringing possible spot flooding.
Met Éireann said afternoon temperatures will range from 5 to 8 degrees over Ulster and up to 13 degrees further south, all in fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds.
Heading into Sunday night, things will be very mild with scattered outbreaks of blustery rain - heaviest across southern and western counties, bringing possible spot flooding. Despite this, temperatures are predicted to remain between 10 to 13 degrees nationwide.
The outlook for the rest of the week will feature more unsettled weather with wet and windy conditions at times, according to Met Éireann.
Monday will then be quite wet and windy with outbreaks of rain in the south and west, while Tuesday will be rather windy too with sunny spells and showers, most frequent across Atlantic counties.
