Ireland weather: Met Eireann give chance on edge of UK's 40C heat reaching Ireland as dry and sunny spells remain

Ireland is set for another warm and dry day. However, temperatures will begin to drop back to normal, with highs in the early 20s.

Met Eireann has forecast a few scattered showers to arrive and spread across the country with a risk of mist and fog overnight.

A forecaster said: “A good deal of dry weather on Wednesday with scattered light showers in the morning Showers will die out through the afternoon for a dry evening. Rather cloudy to start, but sunny spells will break through as the day goes on”.
