It is set to be a day of mixed conditions for Ireland as Met Eireann have forecast both sun and showers today.
The Irish forecaster has said that Tuesday will bring sunny spells and scattered showers - a few of them heavy, with highest temperatures of 13 to 16C.
In the evening, outbreaks of rain and drizzle will develop in coastal counties in the west and will extend towards the east of the country overnight.
