The Irish forecaster has said that Tuesday will bring sunny spells and scattered showers - a few of them heavy, with highest temperatures of 13 to 16C.
In the evening, outbreaks of rain and drizzle will develop in coastal counties in the west and will extend towards the east of the country overnight.
And the changeable weather is set to continue all week with more dry spells mixed with rain and drizzle.
However, it is better news towards the weekend as high pressure is due to build over the country, bringing mostly dry, bright and mild conditions.
