Ireland weather: Met Eireann forecast heavy rain to hit Ireland again with surprising temperatures in store

Ireland experienced very mild temperatures for October over the weekend with temperatures rising to nearly 20C in some parts of the country.

Met Eireann's synoptic weather station in Dublin's Phoenix Park reached a maximum air temperature of 18.2C on Sunday, while other counties reached over 17C.
