Ireland is set to see clear and sunny conditions on Friday.
However, Met Eireann has forecast things to take a turn as the day continues as heavy showers, which may be thundery at times, spread across the country.
A forecaster said: “Windchill tomorrow will make it feel cooler, especially in the West and Northwest.”

They added: “Friday will be a mix of sunny spells and showers, very breezy and feeling cool.”
Meanwhile, a supercharged jet stream is hurling across the Atlantic, bringing frontal systems set to cause weather chaos for Ireland.
Met Eireann has given an unusual update, warning that the country will be blitzed by both “fresh polar maritime air” and “mild tropical maritime air” over the weekend and into next week.
It said: “A mobile westerly air-flow looks set to dominate during this week with frontal systems moving in from the Atlantic at times.
“As Ireland lies near the polar front, alternating incursions of fresh polar maritime air and mild tropical maritime air are expected.”

Today, October 7
Rain and blustery conditions to start will clear later this morning. Sunny spells and scattered showers following, heavy or thundery at times, and becoming isolated towards evening.
Feeling cold with moderate to fresh and gusty west to southwest winds and afternoon highs of 10 to 15 degrees.
Mainly dry and clear tonight, although a few light showers will persist for a time. Cold in parts overnight with lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in a light to moderate westerly breeze.
Saturday, October 8
A drier day tomorrow with sunny spells and isolated light showers. Becoming cloudier during the evening, and patchy light rain and drizzle will develop in the west and northwest.
Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees with a light to moderate south to southwest wind.
Cloud will increase across the country during Saturday night, and rain will move into the west and northwest.
It will become breezy, too, with a moderate to fresh wind developing—lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees.
Sunday, October 9
Wet and breezy as rain moves eastwards across the country. Drier and clearer conditions will follow in the northwest by evening.
Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees with moderate to fresh and gusty southerly winds, veering westerly.
Rain will clear from the southeast early on Sunday night, followed by primarily dry and clear conditions for the rest of the night.
Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with a light to moderate west to northwest wind.
Monday, October 10
Largely dry, with sunny spells and an isolated shower. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees with a light to moderate west to northwest wind.
Largely dry again overnight with clear spells. Cloudier conditions and patchy rain or drizzle on northern and western coast by dawn.
Overnight lows of 6 to 10 degrees with light westerly winds.
Tuesday, October 11
Mainly dry on Tuesday, with some sunny spells and patchy rain or drizzle over the western half of the country.
Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees with a light to moderate west to southwest wind.
Becoming unsettled again as the week continues with spells of wet and breezy weather.
