Met Eireann has forecast a run of four stunning days next week as temperatures reach 23C with sunny spells and very little rain.
From Monday through to Thursday, the weather is due to be dry with most regions due to enjoy summer for a few days before an unsettled weather front moves in off the Atlantic.
Tomorrow, Monday will be a largely dry day with spells of warm sunshine and temperatures will hit 22C.
As the day goes on, it will become cloudier in the northwest with some patchy drizzle developing near the coast.
Scattered outbreaks of rain will arrive in the morning on Tuesday but will gradually clear southeastwards as the afternoon approaches.
Things will brighten up for then with spells of sunshine and just a few showers. Highest temperatures of 21 degrees are expected and it’ll be warmest in the southeast, in light northwesterly breezes.
Wednesday will be another dry day for many areas with a mix of sunny spells and cloudy periods.
Some isolated showers are expected too, especially in the morning and early afternoon however, temperatures will reach 21C in some areas.
It’ll be coldest in the northwest with 16C temperatures forecasted in light to moderate northwesterly breeze.
Thursday will bring a good deal of dry weather too with light southwesterly or variable breezes.
There will be a mix of cloud and sunny spells and some drizzle at times in the northwest while temperatures reach 23C over south Leinster.
At this point, the Irish forecaster says an unsettled front will begin to make its way over Ireland on Friday.
“Friday will still be quite warm for a time, especially in the east where there will be sunny spells and a few showers,” it says.
“However, a weather front is currently predicted to move in from the Atlantic during Friday and on Friday night bringing some rain.
“Cooler unsettled weather with showers following in turn for next weekend.”
