Ireland weather: Experts give Christmas snow update as temperatures drop to zero this week

A weather expert has given an update on the arrival of snow as the festive season gets underway and temperatures head towards zero this week.

As the ‘ideal temperature’ for snow begins to show on charts from midweek, Alan O’Reilly from Carlow weather states that: “Lots of people asking about snow, the current models show none up to Monday for Ireland.

“Beyond that is very uncertain and snow depth charts like these are generally very poor even in short term. So if you see any bear that in mind. Cold is coming, snow? Wait and see.”
