That’s it from us today, congratulations England on the series win - maybe there’s even time in the schedule for a pint or two of the good stuff to celebrate this evening.
The OBO will return, goodbye.
Jacob Bethell lifts the trophy in beautiful late afternoon sun.
I couldn’t have dreamed it any better. To come out here and win the series is a great feeling. We wanted to carry on the momentum from the South Africa series and I thought we did that pretty well. Playing somewhere like Malahide was a great feeling and something I’d like to do again.
Bethell departs by saying he’s looking forward (a little) to getting back in the ranks as Harry Brook will be back at the helm for the New Zealand tour next month.
